A tasty mix of all your favorite alliums including onions, chives, leeks, shallots, and other complimentary vegetables celery and bell pepper, an herbal note of thyme and marjoram, brightness from lemon peel, and a delicate peppery bite of pink peppercorn. SALT FREE!

Serve in a blend sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise, yogurt, and or buttermilk for a delicious upgrade to the classic onion dip.

Sprinkle in with pot roasts, braises, or stews for delicious onion flavor and no tears.

Stir in to creamy soups like potato or cauliflower.

Season oiled bread cubes with ALYUM and a pinch of salt and toast in the oven for delicious homemade croutons.

Whisk with your favorite oils and vinegars for a tasty summer salad dressing. Especially nice on roasted veggies, bean salads, and hearty pasta salads.

 

Easy Onion Dip
~Serves a crowd~


2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp ALYUM®
1 cup of your favorite sour cream
1 cup of your favorite mayonnaise
Salt, to taste

1. Whisk olive oil with ALYUM® and let sit a few minutes to soften.
2. Stir in sour cream and mayonnaise until well blended. Taste and add salt as desired.
3. Chill and enjoy with your favorite raw veggies, chips, or other crunchy snacks. Spread on good bread as a delicious base for sandwiches.

Hudson's Maurice Salad
~serves 4 generously~

2 tsp white vinegar
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp ALYUM
1 tsp sugar (optional)
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 cup mayonnaise
1 hard cooked egg, minced
Salt, to taste
1 lb ham, julienned
1 lb turkey, julienned
1 lb swiss cheese, julienned
1 head iceberg lettuse, shredded
8 - 12 small sweet pickles, julienned
12-16 pimento stuffed green olives

Make dressing: Whisk vinegar, lemon juice, ALYUM and sugar together until sugar dissolves. Whisk in mustard and mayo until well combined. Stir in eggs. Taste and add salt as desired.
Make salad: Toss meats and cheese with half the dressing. Add more to taste and serve over a bed of shredded lettuce. Garnish with pickles and olives.
For the full "retro" experience serve with a slice of zucchini or banana bread and good butter.
